1st D&T practical
Dear Diary,
Finally! D&T lesson now is juz practical! I was so excited bout it tt i 4got 2 bring my apron! haiz...siao me! den, i asked my 'son' Faisal, wat 2 do.... den he said tt i shud tell mr koh n buy an apron from him 4 bout 70 cents rather than buying it in skool bkshop. so i tot of juz starve 2 buy tt apron but i ignored. when reached @ skool workshop, i found Mr Lye, our D&T teach, n told him tt i didnt bring my apron.
ok ok onli he said...den we were given some materials 2 work on our project. dey r; 2 Jelutong wood, 1 Meranti, 1 Aluminium, 1 Plywood and 2 Acrylic of diff colours. while Li Heng [a.k.a Lembu] got his own materials of Pinewood, ramin n some few other wood. Wah liao!! I envy him coz I wanted Pinewood 4 my project!! so i juz went up 2 him n said, "Li Heng, can i see ur pinwood?" "Sure....see lah!" said Li Heng.
I went n examine it n wah liao! smooth, nice grain design n nice base 4 any project...i was lyk "Li Heng! I wanted diz stuff!"
He went lyk "see, very nice rite? u noe ah! when u wad...lacquer it rite? wah! it'll be soooo shiny until u nd 2 close ur eyes sia!"
I was lyk "eh! u dun tok lyk tt ok? i noe ur project will look veri the nice"
Ya lah! I vey jealous...somemore, i got some materials tt r wood n 90% of my project made out of acrylic! i went ga-ga n scratch my head n ask Mr Lye 4 more acrylic pieces..he said can n oso mr sukardi gave me quite no. or acrylic 4 my project...hehehe manage 2 make Faizah [a.k.a Xena] jealous...so, wif my happy face, i went 2 da bench n mark out all da materials...da bench beside me was Li heng, sawing his pine wood n in front of me was faisal n JJ or Jing Jie marking out their materials 2...den, Li heng wore a face mask coz he wanted 2 use da sander machine 2 smoothen his wood...i called him "hello Surgeon Teo.how's da patient?" he replied "hum..not good" hehehe...after sanding, he showed me his wood again! "see very nice rite? so smooth.." faisal oso joined "ya lah! see..very nice u noe.." haiz...my son n li heng lyk father n son sia coz faisal is farmer n li heng is his fav. cow....i onli mark out when da D&T period finish! sooo sian! but nvm...i garentee tt my project will look POWER!!hehehe..
